Open Positions

We are looking for an experienced conservation framer to join our framing department. The candidate should be well versed in museum quality archival framing techniques. 

The ideal candidate should be detail oriented and have the ability to:

  • Archival hinge, and museum quality mount/assembly
  • Cut custom mats and glazing
  • Stretch canvas and linen
  • Sew mount

Must have knowledge about handling a variety of artist and framing materials and enjoy creative challenges and problem solving. High attention to detail is a must.  Desire to learn new techniques. Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment with a mind set to meet deadlines.

This is a full-time position with benefits, hours are flexible. Compensation is based on experience.

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented, individual with excellent client service skills to assist our high-end framing team at our downtown studio in Chicago. The role would involve establishing new accounts, as well as servicing some existing accounts. Maintaining an organized schedule for showroom and offsite client appointments.  Working with private clients, interior designers and collection managers to design and price museum quality frames and custom silvered mirrors. Client centric customer service, collaboration with team members and deadline driven project management is also a large part of this position.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following qualities:

  • minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fine art industry
  • a background in art or interior design, with an eye for detail and color would be particularly desirable
  • Picture framing experience/knowledge is a must!
  • detail oriented, cataloging info/emails
  • proficient in Microsoft Office, Google, Quickbooks, Photoshop, Sketch-up
  • ability to multitask
  • has project management experience
  • develops proposals and cost estimates for projects
  • great interpersonal skills
  • motivated, ability to flourish with minimal guidance
  • has an excellent phone demeanor and is presentable

We are looking for a digital content strategist to join our team.

The role involves creating content for social media, blogs, Google ads, website updates, email campaigns, as well as carrying out marketing strategies and tracking analytics.

The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for the fine art industry, will be able to photograph and write content for social media and blogs, generate content for SEO, and enjoy developing followers on social media.

Responsibilities include:

  • Website content creation
  • Creation and sending email campaigns
  • Analytics, conversions and performance
  • Create and schedule social content on multiple platforms
  • Repost tagged content and respond to social media inquiries
  • Photograph projects and products to post on social media
  • Draft verbiage to support content and marketing goals
  • Create paid social and search content

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with various social media platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO
  • WordPress experience
  • Photography skills
  • Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Proficient in Photoshop
  • Background in custom framing is a plus
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Interest in developing new clientele and expanding sales

We are seeking an experienced art handler/installer to join our installation team to assist in the installation of fine art, mirrors, sculpture in high end residential and commercial spaces.

The candidate must have the ability to:

  • install artwork using a variety of hardware on variable surfaces
  • safely handle fine art, antiques and furniture
  • pack artwork for transport
  • have a clean driving record and drive a box truck
  • troubleshoot onsite and work directly with clients
  • availability for occasional travel
  • be flexible in a fast-paced environment shifting timelines
  • work with the sales team to maintain the installation schedule and navigate projects

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following qualities:

  • minimum of 2 years’ experience in the fine art handling industry
  • Picture framing experience/knowledge is a plus
  • proactive, with high attention to detail

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented individual to assist our wood room/fabrication team.

The ideal applicant will have experience in the picture framing industry. Experience cutting and joining pre-finished and custom milled picture frames is a must. Additional wood room skills including routing, planning and experience and comfort working on table saws is preferred.

This is a full-time position with benefits, hours are flexible. Potential Saturday hours. Compensation is based on experience.
